It’s tempting to just light a candle and forget about it, but safety first! Always snuff out your candle if you’re leaving a room or heading to bed. Make sure the wick’s ember has completely stopped glowing before you step away.
Skip the Night Light and Blackouts
While candles are beautiful, they’re not meant for bedtime or replacing flashlights in a power outage. Keep it safe with battery-powered lights instead—candles can wait for another romantic evening!
Flammable ≠ Fabulous 🔥
Keep burning candles far away from flammable household items like curtains, books, or your favorite fluffy blanket. They’re better for snuggling, not sizzling.

Never use sharp objects to scrape wax out of your glass candle holders—it can weaken or even break the glass. Stick to softer methods to keep everything intact.

Skip the Water, Use a Snuffer
Water and candles don’t mix! Avoid splattering hot wax or shattering glass by extinguishing your flame with a snuffer instead.

If your candles are being shipped in hot weather make sure to bring them inside as soon as you are able. Avoid placing your candle in direct sunlight as this could cause yellowing over time.
How to Use Wax Melts
Break away 1-2 cubes and place them in your electric tart or tealight warmer. Always use caution around pets and children as wax can become hot. Wax melts are a great alternative to candles for people who prefer not to have or are unable to have an open flame. Wax melts do not have wicks and they are not candles. CANDLE USE & SAFETY
